In class today...

We read pg. 1 (Islam reading) and filled in the tombstone for Muhammad on pg. 5. Use the reading to fill this in if you were absent. Also, if you did not finish the tombstone in class, you need to do so for homework!

Work on your Muslim Achievement project over the next few days. The whole project is due on Feb 2 (next Tuesday).

2. Then print out a page from the internet about your assigned achievement. (use the links below for good sites).

We hope that these help! Start with Regents Prep and Grolier...

Regents Prep

Grolier Encyclopedia => This is a great site that the school subscribes to. The username and password are calhounhs. Once you are in the site, search for the achievement. Another way to search is by typing in Islamic Art and Architecture or Astronomy, etc.
***I think this is the best site to use because it has so much in every area. Definitely take a look at this!

More good sites by achievement: If there is not site below, you can search in google, but you should really use Grolier and Regents Prep also!
