Final Exam/End of the Year

It's not over yet...

  • Your final exam for Global Studies 1 is on Monday, June 14th at 8:00 am. The majority of you will take the exam in the Gym. If you received a different room number and cannot remember it, please email us for this information (hahnlanoce@gmail.com).
  • Please log onto regentsprep.org and practice answering questions. There is also valuable review material organized by subject which you can use to review (especially for essays).
We have had a great year together. I will post the class pictures soon! Good luck on the final exam. Please spend the next few days studying!

Create an advertisement for one of the inventions created during the Tang and Song Dynasties in China. The ad should feature a slogan, picture and should be creative. You can have fine print at the bottom, blurbs and an intersting design.

For example: If you were to do the magnetic compass, you could write: "Get lost often? Get a magnetic compass and always find magnetic North!"

3. Handwrite a summary of the information that you have found in the textbook and on the internet about the achievement.

Grolier Encyclopedia => This is a great site that the school subscribes to. The username and password are calhounhs. Once you are in the site, search for the achievement. Another way to search is by typing in Islamic Art and Architecture or Astronomy, etc.
***I think this is the best site to use because it has so much in every area. Definitely take a look at this!

More good sites by achievement: If there is not site below, you can search in google, but you should really use Grolier and Regents Prep also!
